The richness of the African peoples and the their ancestral cultures is a field of attraction for the adventurers and those who “Travel to know…” Without forgetting that this continent were many of explorators and adventurers.
We propose to you one of most complete travels to live and know this cordial continent!!!

Burkina Faso: country of upright men and capital of all the continent traditional music, situated in the bosom of west Africa.
Mali: The old country of the great empires: Tombouctou “the mysterious and desert” ; the Dogon country… and the Niger river.
Togo-Benin: the infancy of the Vaudou and the primitive Tata Somba.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN OUAGADOUGOU
with regular flight. Transfer to the hotel. Lodging.

DAY 2: OUAGA-MANEGA-OUAHIGOUYA
excursion at the museum of “Bendrologie” of Passéré Titinga Frederic, the great ethnologist at Burkina. Return to the capital for the meal and continuation to wards Ouahigouya. Lodging.

DAY 3: OUAHIGOUYA-DOGON COUNTRY
Departure in the morning to wards the cliff of Bandiagara and crossing a lands cape characterized by gigantic baobab and thorny bushes, visit of some Dogon villages of the platform; arrival at the cliff in the last hours of the evening. Lodging in locale hits.

DAY 4: DOGON COUNTRY-BANDIAGARA
During this day will be realized a short excursion on foot in fill of many villages hung on the cliff which permit to observe the ability of Dogon people, expressed in suggestive artistic forms; masks, ritual figures and doors. Departure in the evening to wards Bandiagara. Lodging.

DAY 5: BANDIAGARA-DJENNE-MOPTI
Departure in the morning for the weekly market of Djenné, an ideal scenery to appreciate the high variety of the ethnic groups which people the valley of the Niger River. This day, we will discover different forms of architecture, some majestic buildings in clay called “Sudanese architecture”. Continuation in Mopti the evening. Lodging.

DAY 6: MOPTI-NIGER RIVER
Morning visit of Mopti. The fluvial haven, the old quarter of Taïkiri’s Peulh, the mosque and the market of Sougouni. In the evening, excursion by pinnace (local small boat) on the Niger and Bani river to visit the villages of the Bozo Fischer and Peulh shepherds. Return to Mopti. Lodging.

DAY 7: MOPTI BOBO DIOULASSAO ( Burkina Faso)
Free morning for the last purchasing and lunch at Mopti In the evening, after a long course and checks at the frontier, we arrive in the capital of west African traditional music with its avenues characterized by enormous mango-trees. Lodging.

DAY 8: BOBO-BANFORA
Early visit of the mosque of Dioulassoba, the artisans market. Departure after lunch for the paradise region of Banfora, relaxation at the hotel in the evening. Lodging.

DAY 9: BANFORA-LOBI COUNTRY
Going early for the Lobi country. Visit of Obire ( an animist people who adore their kings like gods). Lunch with sandwich; visit of fortress huts called Soukala and continuation on Gaoua. Lodging.

DAY 10: LOBI COUNTRY-PO
Going for the Gourounsi region. Visit of the some Dagara and Gourounsi families. Arrival at Pô in the last hours of the evening. Lodging.

DAY 11: PO –DAPAONG
Morning visit of Tiébélé (Casena typical village) to appreciate the houses with polychrome motives, artistic expression of the Casena women. Continuation to Dapaong after numerous checks at the frontier. Lodging.

DAY 12: DAPAONG-KARA
Exploration day and mixing with the indigenous populations of the Tamberma or Tata Somba in full of the Atakora (a mountainous chain witch divide Benin and Togo) even to the frontier of Benin. Their houses present an architecture very marvelous and protected by great fetishes which represent the spirit of the ancestors or some animals killed during the hunting. Continuation to Kara. Lodging.

DAY 13: KARA-OUAGA
Departure in the morning to wards Ouaga and visiting rood de Mossi villages and the museum of the Laongo to appreciate the high variety of the sculptures on granite. Works of the best artists of word who meet every 2 years to let their signing in this deep forest. Arrival in Ouagadougou in the last hours of the evening. Lodging.

DAY 14: OUAGA-FLY
Visit of Ouaga town, the artisans center and the great market for the last purchasing. Nightly transfer to the airport.


OPTION TOMBOUCTOU
Tuesday and Wednesday

DAY 6: MOPTI –TOMBOUCTOU
Going in the morning by domestic flight to wards the mysterious town of the desert (Tombouctou). Visit of the museum, the picturesque market, the famous mosques of the Sahara and the explorators houses. Facultative excursion on dromedaries backs and visit of Touareg en camping in the evening. Lodging.

DAY 7: TOMBOUCTOU-MOPTI
Return in the morning by domestic flight for Mopti. At the arrival, visit of the town. Excursion by pinnace to see the Bozo fishers and the Peulh shepherds villages continuation to wards Bobo Dioulasso (Burkina Faso) in the evening. Lodging.
