Day 1 Arrival in Ouagadougou
Arrival at the international airport of Ouagadougou, transfer in hotel. Lodging

Day 2 Ouaga-manega-Ouahigouya
Excursion in Manega the museum of master Pacéré Titinga, the great ethnologist of Burkina to see the variety of architectures, masks, statuettes and ritual figures which represent the African culture in general, then of Burkina and Mali particularly. Return at Ouaga for lunch and continuation on Ouahigouya in the Afternoon. Lodging.

Day 3 Ouahigouya-Dogon country
Departure in the morning towards the cliff of Bandiagara and crossing lands cap characterized by the gigantic Baobab and thorny bushes; visit of Yadega villages at the frontier and continuation towards the “Ogol du bas”. Arrival to the cliff reserved for the last hours of the day. Lodging in huts. Local encamping.

Day 4 Dogon country
During this day will be done a small excursion by foot in full of many villages clung on cliff which permit to observe the great entitled of the Dogon people, expressed by suggestive artistic forms, masks, ritual figures, doors… Lodging.

Day 5 Dogon country-Djenné-Mopti
Departure in the morning for the weekly market of Djenné, on ideal scene to appreciate the variety of the ethnic groups who populate the valley of the Niger river; this day, we will discover different forms of architecture, majestic buildings in clay called SUDANESE ARCHITECTURE. Continuation on Mopti in the evening. Lodging.

Day 6 Mopti
Day entirely consecrate to this town called “Venise of Mali”. Visit of the Peulh quarter of Taïkiri, the spectacular fluvial haven exalted by the Sudanese edifices which recall the Mandingue glorious sovereignty which commercialized between Tombouctou and Djenné. Small visit of the artisanal market in the evening. Lodging.

Day 7 Mopti-Niger river
Free morning for the last purchasing, evening consecrate to an excursion on Niger and Bani rivers by “pinasse” (local small boat) to visit the villages of the Bozo (fishers) and Peulh (pastors). Return to Mopti. Lodging.

Day 8 Mopti-Bobo Dioulasso (Burkina Faso)
After a long course and frontier check, we arrive in the chief city of west Africa traditional music with its avenues characterized by huge mango-trees and Calcedras. Visit of the Faraka old quarter. Lodging.

Day 9 Bobo-Banfora
Early visit of Dioulassoba mosque, the market and the artisans. Exit after the lunch towards the paradise region of Banfora, visit of the spectacular mountainous forms of the domes, created by the wind erosion. Lodging.

Day 10 Banfora-Lobi country
Departure early in the morning towards the Lobi country, lunch with sandwiches, visit of Lobi villages and short stop at the ruins of Loropeni. Lodging.

Day 11 Gaoua-Ouaga
Early visit of the museum of Gaoua and departure for the chief city. Visit of some Dagara’s families on rood. Arrival at the last hours of the evening. Lodging.

Day 12 Ouaga-Return
Early facultative excursion on Laongo to appreciate the museum of sculpture on granite Works of World best artists who met every 2 years to mark they signatures in the last purchasing or to be in the swimming pool of the hotel. Nightly transfer to the airport. Return.

OPTION TOMBOUCTOU
Tuesday and wednesday

DAY 6 Mopti-Tombouctou
Departure in the morning with domestic flight for the mysterious town of the desert. Visit of the museum, the picturesque market, the famous mosques of the Sahara and the explorers houses. Facultative excursion in the evening on dromedaries backs towards a Touareg encamping. Return at Tombouctou. Lodging.

Day 7 Tombouctou-Mopti
Return in the morning by domestic flight to Mopti, visit the arrival of the town and the evening consecrate to an excursion on Niger and Bani rivers by pirogue to visit the Bozo fishers village and peulh pastors. Return to Mopti. Lodging

Extension in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
Saturday and Thursday

Day 11 Banfora-Korogho
Early excursion at the cascades of Karfiguila. Departure towards the frontier of the Côte d’Ivoire; passing from frontier formalities we arrive in the region which live the Sénoufo. Lodging

Day 12 Sénoufo country
Visit of most typical villages of the region; going on small tracks neighborhood Korogho, we will visit Fakaha, Takpalakaha, Waragniné… Return to Korogho. Lodging.

Day 13 Sénoufo country-Yamoussoukro
Visit in the morning towards the surprising town of Yamoussoukro, visit of majestic copy of the basilica of the Vatican and the old presidential palate superintended by some sacred crocodiles. Lodging.

Day 14 Yamoussoukro-Abidjan-Grand Bassam
Exit towards Abidjan, the commercial and industrial town of Côte d’Ivoire, visit of Fanico, the market of Cocody and continuation on Grand Bassam and interesting artless painting. Lodging.

Day 15 Departure
Free day in disposition the Beach, transfer in the evening at the airport.
